Each photo is a composite of 30 to 100 individual images, all focus-stacked in digital layers and composited together. \"Focus Stacking\" is a technique which allows a photographer to \"stack\" digital images, each with a different focus point. When combined in a multi-image stack, the result is an image with tremendous depth of field. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eFocus stacking was used to produce almost all the photos in this book. Unlike most photos of small models, these photos have fantastic depth of field and everything is in focus.
