Sandra comes forward to explain, and Julio Antonio refuses to accept Che's repeated apologies, taking the opportunity to finally get out of the madman's circle of intimates. From the condition of the body, he already knows who is responsible: Che's illegitimate daughter, Maggie, who had left him as a present a painting she had made which was an exact depiction of a nightmare fueled by delirium Julio Antonio had while recovering from the infected wounds he sustained while smuggling Che's briefcase out of the military headquarters. He leaves the party and takes it to a friend with psychic abilities to see if there's a connection or explanation. He has a meeting with yet another double of Lee Harvey Oswald, this time an agent for the West, and tells him everything he knows about the planned assassination of Kennedy. By then, a year has passed, and the news hits the island: President John F. Kennedy is dead, and Lee Harvey Oswald is in custody for the crime. An ebullient Che sees Julio Antonio and apologizes for any past insults and virtually begs the teen to come back into his circle. He is arrested by Piñeiro's agents, and brought before a meeting with Che, Fidel, Piñeiro, and one of the other Commanders, in which he not only explains his reasons for not delivering the map, but returns it and shows Che and Fidel exactly what the head of the G-2 has really been doing to him.
