About Anthony Doerr
Anthony Doerr is an award-winning American author best known for his novel “All the Light We Cannot See,” which won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 2015. Born and raised in Ohio, Doerr’s love for literature led him to earn a BA in History from Bowling Green State University and an MFA from Bowling Green State University. His other works include “The Shell Collector,” “About Grace,” and “Four Seasons in Rome.”
Also proficient in short stories, Doerr’s stories have been anthologized and published in several magazines. Beyond his writing, Doerr is a dedicated teacher, having taught in the MFA program at Warren Wilson College and Idaho’s Boise State University. Known for his incredibly descriptive imagery and introspective characters, Doerr has established himself as a significant voice in contemporary literature.
