Refund policy

We want every order to arrive perfectly — and if it doesn't, we'll make it right.

Because Black & Barhe operates as a dropship bookstore, books are printed and shipped on demand directly from our fulfillment partner. This means we're unable to accept returns for reasons such as ordering the wrong book, a change of mind, or an incorrect shipping address provided at checkout. All sales are final except in the cases outlined below.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your book arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, we've got ye covered. Contact us at ahoy@blackandbarhe.com within 14 days of delivery with:

  • A clear description of the issue
  • Photos showing the damage or defect
  • Photos of the packaging if the item arrived damaged in transit

Once confirmed, we'll arrange a free replacement or full refund at no cost to you. If the issue affects multiple copies of the same title, please include a photo showing all affected items together.

Unsuccessful Deliveries

If your tracking shows no movement for 15 or more days and delivery has not been completed to the correct address, contact us, and we'll arrange a reshipment to the same address.

Please note: if an incorrect address was provided at checkout, we're unable to offer a refund. You're welcome to place a new order with the correct address.

Refunds

Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method. Processing time varies depending on your bank or card provider — typically between 5–10 business days. If you haven't received your refund after 10 business days, please check with your bank before reaching out to us.

Gift Orders

If an item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to the recipient, a gift credit will be issued for approved refunds. If the order was shipped to the purchaser first, the refund will be returned to the original payment method.
