Thank you for shopping at Black & Barhe. Here's everything ye need to know about how yer order gets from our crew to yer hands.
Shipping Cost
All orders ship for a flat rate of $7.00, regardless of how many books ye order. No hidden fees, no weight-based calculations — just one straightforward doubloon for the journey.
A note on shipping costs: We're a small independent bookstore with thin margins — not a warehouse giant with the infrastructure to absorb shipping costs into inflated prices. Our flat $7 ships everything in your order no matter how many books ye add, so the more ye crew up on titles, the better the value. Every order also means one less unnecessary shipment — so stack yer cart and sail efficiently, mate.
Where We Ship
We currently ship to all USPS-compliant addresses within the United States, including:
- All 50 US states
- APO/FPO military addresses
- US territories
All shipping addresses must be valid USPS-approved addresses. We do not currently offer international shipping — we hope to expand this in the future and appreciate yer patience.
Order Processing
After an order is placed, it is held for up to 24 hours before being submitted to our fulfillment partner for processing. Most books ship within 3 business days of fulfillment. Once shipped, delivery typically takes an additional 2–8 business days via USPS depending on your location.
Please note that some titles are printed on demand and may occasionally require additional processing time. We'll always keep ye in the loop.
Tracking
Once your order ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with a USPS tracking number. Use it to follow your book's voyage from our crew to your door.
Shipping Carrier
All orders ship via USPS. We are unable to accommodate requests for specific carriers or delivery services.
Incorrect Shipping Address
Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order. If an incorrect address is provided at checkout, Black & Barhe is not liable for delays, misdelivery, or non-delivery. If you catch an error right after ordering, contact us immediately at ahoy@blackandbarhe.com and we'll do our best to help before the order goes to fulfillment.
Lost or Delayed Shipments
If your tracking shows no movement for 15 or more days and your order has not been delivered, contact us at ahoy@blackandbarhe.com and we'll arrange a reshipment to the same address.
Damaged Shipments
If your order arrives damaged, please refer to our Return & Refund Policy for instructions. You have 14 days from delivery to report a damaged or defective item.
Fraud Prevention
All orders are subject to verification. We reserve the right to cancel or delay an order if fraudulent activity is suspected.
Policy Updates
Black & Barhe reserves the right to modify this shipping policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and take effect upon posting.
