About Alessandro Vitale Books
Alessandro Vitale (@_SpicyMoustache_) has captivated a vast, growing audience with fast-paced, easy-to-follow and low-waste videos (4.3M Instagram, 2.6M TikTok). Originally making handmade shoes in his native Italy, Alessandro has always connected to the land and food growing. He then moved to London in 2016 establishing himself as an urban gardener. His first book, Rebel Gardening, (Watkins, April 2023), focuses on urban growing, but Alessandro's audience is crying out for a SpicyMoustache recipe book (he gets at least 100 mentions a day on Instagram). He has appeared on Gardener's World and Gardener's Question Time, and collaborates with influencers and sustainability experts (including the likes of Owen Han and DK authors Charles Dowding and Ben Newell) on Instagram.
