About Betty Choi Books
Betty Choi, MD is a pediatrician and writer with extensive experience in medical education content development. She is the author of Human Body Learning Lab, which won an AAAS/Subaru SB&F Award for Excellence in Science Books, and her advice on children's health and development has been featured in Parents, Popsugar, and Verywell Family. Dr. Choi completed her pediatrics training at Boston Children's Hospital/Boston Medical Center and worked as a pediatric physician. Passionate about improving science communication and access to affordable education, she has reached thousands of families around the world to advocate for healthy, positive parenting; hands-on learning for children; and diversity and inclusion through her writing, website, and social media. She lives in California with her husband and children.
