Cocomaru is a self-taught designer and illustrator who specializes in making photorealistic pencil drawings. His award-winning rhinoceros beetle drawing launched him into the spotlight, resulting in frequent TV and media appearances. He's produced dozens of trompe l'oeil illustrations using his "secret technique"--selectively incorporating PanPastels to produce vivid, lifelike tones.
