About Haleh Massey Books

Dr. Haleh Massey has blossomed from an awkward teenager to an awkward mother. She is a clinical psychologist and marriage and family therapist with almost two decades of experience working with children and their families. She met the love of her life at a nonprofit agency in the big city, then returned to the suburbs where she and her husband run a private practice and are awkwardly raising two amazing children. When she's not working, Dr. Massey enjoys vacuuming and eating turkey sandwiches. You can visit her at drhalehmassey.com. Rashin Kheiriyeh is an internationally acclaimed, award-winning illustrator, author, animator, and painter with over 25 years of experience in publication and broadcasting. She has published 100 children's books in countries including the United States, France, South Korea, and Iran. Kheiriyeh has received 50 national and international awards, including the 2022 Anne Izard Storyteller's Choice Award, the SCBWI Bologna Scholarship Award, and the 2017 Sendak Fellowship Award in New York.
