About Jackson T. Redmon Books
Jackson T. Redmon (Jack) was born in Marshall, N.C. in 1935. He served in the army for three years during the Korean War before earning a degree in Agricultural Engineering from Clemson College. In 1963, Jack and his wife, Jewel, moved to Montana where he taught at Montana State College (currently MSU). He later farmed and ranched for about 20 years -- four years of which were on the Fort Peck (Sioux) reservation in northeastern Montana. Over the past 50 years, Jack has developed a great appreciation for the history and culture of the Plains Indians. Jack and Jewel have five children, eight grandchildren, and reside in Livingston, MT. A Culture of Courage is his first novel.
