About Kate Merrill Books

A gallery owner since 1970, Kate Merrill has championed dozens of painters with specialties ranging from African American Folk Art to European Surrealism. Her first galleries, THE MERRILL COLLECTION, located in West Chester and Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, were among the first in the nation to sponsor Black History Month shows, a tradition carried on by the current gallery, MERRILL-JENNINGS GALLERIES in North Carolina.
