About Kathryn Lee-Ryder Books
Kathryn Lee-Ryder's desire to write children's books began when she was faced with her own personal life challenges. During her trials of life, she was hit with the realization that she was neither emotionally, nor psychologically, prepared for such matters. Although Kathryn was well educated and employed in a professional management position, she began to realize how our current educational system fails to teach the basic fundamentals of life. With years of research, partnered with her personal experiences, Kathryn began to embark on a journey of writing children's books. It is her intention to entertain with real-life stories based on adorable Ground Hog characters. It is Kathryn's dream to write a multitude of "Spunky & Jumpy" adventures. "Jumpy Finds Courage on Ground Hog Day" is the first book in the "Spunky & Jumpy" adventures where Jumpy is encouraged to face his fear by his loving and caring Mama. Without fear there would be no courage. Kathryn believes we are all born into this world fearless and our unhealthy fears are created through our personal life experiences. In many cases, this type of fear has the ability to paralyze us to the point that we simply "exist" in life. Kathryn's dream is to help people of all ages rise above and beyond their challenges so they may find themselves living life to their highest potential.
