About Lloyd R. Prentice Books
I've mucked out box stalls, served up floats and shakes from behind a soda fountain, smashed down walls for a home re-modeler, operated lathes and milling machines, designed relay logic circuits, shipped chemicals to electroplating companies, and processed office mail. I've edited and published magazines, developed and conducted sales training programs; taught writing, print and visual media production, and public communication skills to undergraduate and graduate students, founded a graduate writing program, and managed a software development company. Writing has been central to my life; essential throughout my career. I studied creative writing at San Francisco State College (now University)with Wright Morris, George Price, Jim Leigh, and Walter Van Tilberg Clark. In the years since I've written non-fiction by day and fiction as time and energy allowed. But, now, at last, I'm a full-time novelist .
