About Micah Brooks

My name is Micah Brooks and I am a worship pastor, author and songwriter from Nashville, Tennessee, USA. My passion is to see Jesus' people lift up and worship Jesus' name. While playing music is part of my profession, I am a family man in life. I am married to wife Rochelle. Together we have three children (as of 2016, we may have more by now, ha!): Liam, Aisley and Jovie. We attend World Outreach Church where I am a worship pastor. The whole family enjoys running in the Tennessee heat, and I also enjoy playing church league softball. Micah has been a guitar teacher and coach for over ten years. Most people learn best by having one-on-one instruction. This book and the others in this series, such as Worship Guitar In Six Weeks and 42 Guitar Chords Everyone Should Know, were created with the student in mind. They are each the best of the lessons that a guitar student will receive from Micah. The guitar is one of the greatest tools for modern worship. When the guitar is used to expand God's kingdom, the opportunities are endless. All glory to Jesus Christ!
