Lama Rod Owens is a "Black Buddhist Southern Queen" who is an authorized lama in the Kagyu School of Tibetan Buddhism with a Master of Divinity degree from Harvard. He is the author of The New Saints and Love and Rage and coauthor of Radical Dharma.
