About Rowena Evans Books

Rowena Evans grew up in an artistic family in Sydney and has always been interested in telling stories and making pictures. As a child she thought all adults were good at drawing and that art and writing were normal occupations. She has a BA in Visual Arts and has worked as an illustrator, printmaker, writer, fairy, cartoonist and in community art, among other things. Rowena's writing and art contain a mixture of reality and fantasy; it is always possible that something out of the ordinary may appear just around the next corner. Her hobbies include music, wandering about, reading and weeding.
