Virginia M. Wright was a senior writer at Down East magazine for more than ten years and the author of several books, including Red's Eats: World's Best Lobster Shack, The Wild Blueberry Book, The Maine Lobster Book, and Route 1 Maine. Besides writing for many other publications, she was the features editor of The Times Record in Brunswick and the editor of the Landmarks Observer, the quarterly publication of Greater Portland Landmarks. She lives in Camden, Maine.
