Valerie Ellis is an author, speaker, and founder of Our Everyday Parables, an online resource with book reviews and ideas for families pursuing faith and compassion. She lives in Houston, Texas, where she stays involved with The MomCo, SCBWI, and a variety of local nonprofits. In addition to writing and reading kids' books, Valerie enjoys hiking, live music, and adventuring with her husband, Josh, and their two boys.
