7 Colonies, Vol I: The Commencement Day Massacres - Paperback

by Rick Lofton (Author)

Centuries after the last human war, Earth is ruled not by people, but by their legacy: the Evo, a new species engineered from human and animal DNA, and guided by the enigmatic Guardians-androids programmed to protect, nurture, and eventually relinquish control. Seven vast colonies rise where old cities once stood, each a marvel of technology and hope. But as Commencement Day approaches-the moment when the Guardians must step aside-unrest simmers beneath the surface.

Goldie, a mutant outcast with the power to glimpse the future, is plagued by visions of fire and blood. When she stumbles into a plot that could shatter the fragile peace, she's forced to join a coalition of unlikely allies: rebels, mutants, and outcasts, all fighting for survival as the world they know begins to unravel.

Across the colonies, old rivalries ignite. The radical Primeans, led by the ruthless Puma, are ready to seize power at any cost. In the shadows, secrets fester, alliances fracture, and ancient grudges threaten to erupt into all-out war. As the Guardians fall, the Evo must confront not only their enemies, but the truth of their own origins, and the darkness they might inherit.

7 Colonies: The Commencement Day Massacres is a sweeping saga of revolution, identity, and survival in a world where evolution is both a weapon and curse. The age of guidance is over. Now, the true test begins - will the Evo rise to claim their destiny, or will they be consumed by the chaos left behind?

Enter the world of 7 Colonies, where the future is forged in fire, and every choice could be the last. As chaos erupts across all seven colonies, Goldie must face the truth: She is not just a survivor. She is a symbol.

And if she doesn't rise-the world will fall.
