A Challenging Duet: A Novel in Four Parts: Second Movement - Paperback

Time marches forward. All we can change is our future- the past that will, one day, belong to our grandchildren. But what if we could change the past? In this creative retelling of the relationship between George Sand and Fryderyk Chopin, author Kyah Merritt takes a wistful look at what might have been, rediscovering these figures from days gone by as characters distinct from their historical counterparts. In a thought-provoking blend of fact and fiction, George and Fryderyk learn and grow, an author and a composer sharing the duet of life as they seek healing from the hurts of the past and hope for the future. In independence and interdependence, they strive for authenticity, freeing themselves from the limitations society tries to impose upon them as they seek their true selves. Join them on a journey of the heart and soul, struggling through riptides of trauma and landslides of disability to the peaks of freedom.
