A Change of Face - Hardcover

by Lmsw Margaret Pfeifer-Lincoln (Author)

Claire believes she has finally found the love that will carry her beyond a family broken by divorce. In the early 1980s, a chance meeting with charismatic Evan draws her into a whirlwind of dances, road trips, dreams of New York, and a future that seems certain.

But when the relationship ends in betrayal, Claire is left with a wound no amount of time can fully erase.

Years later, Claire has transformed herself into a successful plastic surgeon in New York City. Then a devastating car accident sends two people from her past into her operating room: Evan and the woman who shattered her trust. Forced to confront the life she has built against the heartbreak she never resolved, Claire must decide whether to remain the person she has become, or give in to the dark promise of revenge.

A Change of Face is an emotionally charged psychological thriller about first love, betrayal, ambition, and the haunting power of a past that refuses to stay buried.
