A Chaplain Volunteers - Paperback

A new and unique memoir of the Vietnam Conflict as experienced by a Chaplain who served two full 1 year tours of duty on the front lines. Sometimes funny, often poignant, but always matter of fact and brutally honest, Chaplain Spitler's narrative speaks for the dead, the wounded and those forever affected by this difficult period of our Nation's history, and speaks with authority and dignity as one of the very few men who twice volunteered to serve his Country and his God in the hellish jungles of Southeast Asia.
