Houston and Sophie resigned from the President's Task Force after Sophie nearly drowned on the last mission. They decided to stay in Austin and build a home.
After Teresa graduated high school, she approached Houston and Sophie and told them what happened to her father. Teresa wanted to go back to Henderson and put the man who killed her father behind bars. But she knew she would need help.
