A Good Man Goes South - Paperback

"JD Clapp writes with the darkest blood..."

Russell Thayer, Author of, The Gunselle Stories

"JD Clapp does not look away. From remote Alaska to meth riddled trailer parks to a Tijuana brothel, A Good Man Goes South brings us murderers, drug addicts, sexual deviants, and alcoholic ice fishermen. The stories wander through premeditated murder, unbridled lust, calculated vengeance, and drug-addled craziness. In all of these tales, Clapp shows himself to be a master at displaying the full range of the human condition, bringing us light and empathy in the darkest of settings."

François Bereaud, author of, San Diego Stories

"Each story is a rough diamond un-needing to be cut."

Carson Pytell, Editor-in-Chief, Northern Grit
