A Hero Named Dane - Paperback

by Carla U. Sizer (Author)

A Hero Named Dane is a heartwarming children's picture book that celebrates kindness, courage, and the everyday ways one child can make a difference. Inspired by the true spirit of Dane, this beautifully illustrated story follows a young boy whose greatest superpower isn't flying or super strength-it's his caring heart.

As Dane helps friends, shares with others, and spreads joy wherever he goes, children discover that being a hero is about showing compassion, standing up for what is right, and making the world a little brighter through simple acts of love.

When an unexpected loss changes everything, Dane's light doesn't disappear. Instead, it continues to shine through the people he inspired and the kindness they choose to share. With a gentle message of hope, love, and remembrance, A Hero Named Dane reminds young readers that the people we love are never truly gone-their goodness lives on in our hearts and in the way we care for one another.

Perfect for children ages 5-8, families, classrooms, and anyone looking to teach empathy, resilience, and the lasting impact of kindness, this uplifting story encourages every child to discover the hero within themselves.
