A Horse for Anna Maria - Paperback

In this series opener, the reader comes to know Anna Maria Telos, a young teenager growing up in the Los Angeles of the 1950's. Anna lives with her grandfather, Marco, a devout Catholic, who is raising her in the Faith, sharing his own devotion to our Lord and our Blessed Mother. A former jockey, Grampa has also given to Anna his great love for horses-animals they both believe were sent by God to carry them across the miles and through the trials of their not always easy life. In A Horse for Anna Maria, readers are introduced to a unique cast of characters, many of whom will join Anna in her later adventures. As this Catholic family fiction series¬ continues, Anna's faith will be tested and refined; and her penchant for solving mysteries will add an enticing element of suspense.
