A Love for Lexi: a friends to lovers later in life romantic comedy - Paperback

by D. E. Haggerty (Author)

Lenny's been waiting a long time for his happily ever after. Too bad the woman he set his sights on put him in the friendzone faster than you can say 'lover'. Challenge accepted!

Milwaukee is merely a pitstop while I try to figure out what to do with the rest of my life. I'm not hiding from my family. I'm just ... figuring some things out before I confront them.

Lenny acts like he's fine being friends, but I know the silver fox wants more. It's not hard to figure out when his lips find mine every chance he gets.

He thinks he can charm his way into me taking down my walls. Ha! Good luck with that. My walls are steel reinforced.

But then the whole mess back home catches up with me, and Lenny's done with gentle. His battering ram is at the ready - prepared to shatter my walls and earn my love. And this former soldier has some experience with a battering ram. Gulp.

He claims Love will OUT in the end.

Easy for him to say.

This friends to lovers later in life romantic comedy features a woman doing her dang best to resist a silver fox's charm, a silver fox who will do anything in his power to change her mind, a gang of friends who don't know the definition of nosy, and a group of former military buddies who are looking for any excuse to get back in the game.

A Love for Lexi is a standalone book in the Love will OUT romantic comedy series.
