Adira's Assassin: Book One of the Chrym Chronicles - Paperback

by Ila R. Reber (Author)

When a rare but powerful gift manifests in a village boy on the verge of manhood, Aja knows his future is no longer certain. Will he be claimed by the Church and pressed into service to their masters, the dragons who rule his world, or will he escape their notice and live out his life as a farmer? Before he can master his abilities a tragic loss changes everything and sets him on a path toward revenge. After years spent training with the rebels, the dragon he hates above all others is finally in his sights, but Aja has another mission to carry out, one that might save them all. The former slave turned assassin straddles two worlds and risks his place in both as he balances his desire for vengeance against a chance at freedom for his people. Is there only one path to salvation or can Adira's assassin find another way?
