Thus, we increased our interactions with the Indigenous population. A modern day traveler can expect the same.We journeyed with no definite route in mind and no schedules to keep. Our motto was: "Whatever happens it is bound to be interesting!" We were determined to join the ranks of the intrepid who had explored Africa's three great river systems: THE NIGER, THE CONGO AND THE NILE.
