AFTER ... Thelma's Story - Paperback

by Leslie Johnson (Author)

Thelma Graham is the most despised woman in Crawford. She bites first, learns your secrets, and uses them against you. She hasn't got a kind bone in her body.

Then, in one moment, she finds herself at the end of a physical altercation with her latest victim. Someone she despised, someone she felt superior to. When her husband rescues her, she is battered, bruised, and totally humiliated. No one had ever dared to confront her abusive and negative taunts. Until Barbara.

She tries to carry on as usual, but sporting a black eye, one of her other victims, Joan Bradshaw, had the audacity to show pity and concern for her welfare, which broke her. She had a panic attack, and now they won't stop. She's afraid of everyone.

What is happening, and how can she move on? Does she have a chance to become who she was always meant to be, or is it too late to change a lifetime of habits?
