All Were Limones - Paperback

Poetry. In poems of love and loss, Caycedo-Kimura explores memories of her childhood as an emigre from Colombia and her life in the two cultures, rich and violent, troubled and sweet. Says Robert Pinsky, "In these vivid, lyrical poems, the telling of loss is a form of celebration." Jennifer Franklin calls this "a powerful debut collection from a new voice in contemporary poetry. Spanning decades and continents, these intimate, fierce, and lyrical poems both disquiet and comfort as they interrogate memory, family, identity, and home."
