Almost a year after being left at the altar, Juniper Whitmore finds herself waking from a rendezvous with a twenty-two-year-old college student. She does her walk of shame looking like a train wreck through a convenience store where she runs into - quite literally - a 6'4" tattooed hottie named James. Eventually, James asks her to return the favor to fend off a life ruining ex-girlfriend at a family reunion, who does whatever she can to get in the way.
