An Artilleryman's Diary - Hardcover

""An Artilleryman's Diary"" is a first-hand account of the experiences of Jenkin Lloyd Jones, a Welshman who served as an artilleryman during World War I. The book is a personal journal that chronicles Jones' time in the trenches, from his initial training to his experiences on the front lines. Jones writes about the harsh realities of war, including the constant danger, the grueling conditions, and the emotional toll it takes on the soldiers. He also describes the camaraderie and friendships that develop among the troops, as well as the moments of courage and heroism that he witnesses. The diary provides a unique perspective on the war, as it is written by an ordinary soldier rather than a high-ranking officer or historian. It is a powerful and moving account of one man's journey through one of the most devastating conflicts in human history. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
