Anessa the bird is Mariah's second book. Her first book "Candy the Circus Cat" was a short story picture book. After this book, Mariah was inspired to write her first chapter book.

Anessa is a happy bird in her nest until something terrible happens! What will she do? It might be a bad day, but Anessa is going to have great adventures!
