Annelise and the Pendragons: Liberation - Paperback

Annelise was just trying to live a quiet, solitary life...as an art and magical artifact forger.

In a world where the magical community has revealed itself to the sourceless world, Annelise is happiest alone with her art. But when she is caught red-handed selling a forged magical artifact, the wardens don't cart her off to jail. Instead, they enlist her for an unsanctioned mission to break into the government vaults, steal the key to the Subraek-an underrealm where all the darkest creatures from our world have been banished over the centuries-and free the long lost Dragon who they believe has been kidnapped and wrongfully imprisoned there.

Naturally, everything goes wrong. With the relentless Detective Poe hot on their heels, they must evade capture while traveling to Wizard's Island on Crater Lake, use the stolen key to access a forgotten portal to the Subraek, brave the monsters who dwell there, free the Dragon, discover who her captor is, and hopefully avoid being sent to prison.

...Naturally, everything goes wrong.
