Raised in a family of survivalists, Tommie and her siblings still could never have predicted what ended the world as they knew it: virus that reanimates the victim into a soulless killing machine with a taste for human flesh.

Tommie was even less prepared to accept the existence of werewolves, but when the creatures save her life from both the undead and the living, disbelief isn't really an option anymore.

Separated from his pack, Fox manages to find a home with Tommie and her family, safely tucked away from most of the dangers of the horrific new world of cannibal undead and desperate humans. Until the day Fox finds an abandoned werewolf pup in the forest.

Believing they kidnapped him, the pup's pack takes Tommie's sister in retaliation, causing the group to head into the woods to track them down and exchange the pup for the girl.

But even that doesn't go to plan,

Because, while following the trail they encounter another werewolf. One that's rotting. One that's dead. One that attacks with the sole purpose of killing anything in front of it.
