Barkley - Paperback

A newly retired police officer from Vermont, Robert Kilmer, works to adjust to living in a new place and a new lifestyle. Along with Barkley, his French bulldog, he resettles in New York State on the shores of Lake Ontario, where he buys a fishing boat. The plan to spend life relaxing and fishing takes an ominous turn, and the lake offers very unexpected challenges. Robert and Barkley find themselves being pulled into dangerous criminal investigations and a quest to solve a weird, anomalous mystery out on the lake.
