Blood Evidence - Paperback

by Augustina Van Hoven (Author)

Revenge, deception, and murder. Can this skilled investigator's sixth sense for crime stop a killer before another body drops?

Sean Landers fights to keep grief at bay. Still haunted by the loss of his beloved wife to cancer, the former LA homicide detective medicates with overwork in a bustling northern Idaho county's sheriff's department. And investigating what appears to be a home invasion gone wrong, his instincts scream that the scene's been staged to throw them off a murderer's scent.

Befriending the pretty forensics scientist assigned to the case, the dedicated cop's tentative step toward normalcy is interrupted by the apparent OD of a prominent defense attorney's son. But when he discovers the security camera closest to the dead man's car is disabled, Sean suspects he's chasing a clever killer who's just getting started.

Can the shrewd officer piece the puzzle together before his adopted home turns into a morgue?
