Bones: A Legend of Sleepy Hollow - Paperback

by Brian Doe (Author)

Did Brom Bones really murder Ichabod Crane, bury the body under a bridge, and stage the crime scene to frame the Headless Horseman? A grisly task, indeed, just to get a girl. Three years later, Brom sees no end to the agony of being married to the disinherited and demanding Katrina Van Tassel. In fact, he's become so preoccupied with his own misery that he barely notices how much his spiteful prize loathes him for neglecting their relationship and six children. But a belated revelation promises to unravel a different kind of hell-young Aucker Van Acker thinks he saw Brom Bones plant the schoolteacher in the ground over a thousand days ago, and haunted by twisted nightmares ever since, the reluctant boy covertly unloads his conscience. Now, someone has concocted a harrowing plot to erase Brom Bones, and they've conjured the ghastly specter of the Headless Horseman to do it, exacting a revenge so dreadful that all of Sleepy Hollow will tremble in its wake.
