Callie the Calico Cat - Hardcover

In this heartwarming tale of cat and girl, a little girl finds more than just a pet in the family's cat.

After publishing his first novel in 2023, author Mike Dougherty was encouraged to pen a children's story for his grandchildren-his inspiration, his own calico cat, Callie. Mike's children's book debut Callie the Calico Cat follows the special friendship of a little girl and her pet cat.

Narrated by a young girl, the story centers on Callie the cat. From reading and homework to piano lessons and kitty hugs, Callie's love and companionship are just the ticket. With colorful, eye-catching illustrations, Callie the Calico Cat will appeal to any child or adult who has ever felt the adoration of an animal.
