About Peter Wohlleben

Peter Wohlleben is the renowned author of many bestselling books about the natural world. A former forester, Wohlleben runs a forest academy in Germany that supports sustainable forest management and teaches adults and children about the many wonders of the forest. He lives in Hümmel, Germany. Carina Wohlleben studied geography as well as nature conservation and landscape ecology, and she has been a partner in the forest academy founded by her father since 2017. She lives in the Sauerland region of Germany. Rachel Qiuqi is an illustrator and author who's passionate about storytelling for children. Her other illustrated books include Fiona the Fruit Bat, written by Dan Riskin, and What Will I Discover?, written by Tanya Lloyd Kyi, both published by Greystone Kids. Rachel lives in Toronto, Ontario.
