Cats' Eyes - Paperback

Lynley Cannon is the crazy cat lady, but she's not quite crazy yet, though a bizarre connection to a bumbled heist and a double homicide has got her wondering.

Retiree Lynley Cannon adores her old Portland home with her clowder of rescue cats, but when elderly Fluffs drags in a beach agate that turns out to be a priceless chocolate diamond, things change fast. How the stolen stone, one of a pair called the Cats' Eyes, ended up a cat toy, even the robbers cannot guess.

Robbery escalates to kidnapping and murder. With the police baffled, Lynley is determined to catch the crooks herself. Friends, family, and a hunky animal cop step up to help, but the killer, convinced Lynley has the diamonds, is prepared to go to any lengths to get them back.

Will Lynley live to clean the litter box another day?
