Creative Writer - Paperback

Can writing be taught? Lecturer Tom Fynn is trying his best against difficult odds, but the life of this writer rarely runs smoothly. An affair with a student, a secret career as a porn author, a stalker who has vowed to destroy him, a vendetta with a famous author, and his quest to publish his masterpiece are occupying most of his time. Creative Writer reveals the little-voiced truths of the aspiring writer's existence: the triumphs and the disappointments, the hard lessons learned, the obsession with language . . . and the bizarre maniacs populating slush piles and postgraduate writing courses. If you've ever thought about writing a book, read this one first.
