Dead Men Don't Paddle - Paperback

by CC Trace (Author)

Murder is floating by the Blueberry Hill Inn.

Regatta week is supposed to bring sunshine, tourists, and colorful festival attractions, not a dead tech mogul bobbing beside a kayak.

When new innkeeper Carolina Teal finds him tangled in the reeds, Pine Haven's cheerful celebration hits rough water. With a prestigious B&B magazine set to arrive any day, she must keep the inn afloat while juggling sabotage, scandal, and suspects sleeping under her own roof.

There's his missing nephew, recently cut from the company, and an icy board member determined to rein in his erratic leadership and the tech inventor stuck in his shadow.

Luckily, Carolina isn't paddling solo. There's Jack, a charming ranger, and Kahlua, and her German Shepherd with a nose for secrets. Carolina dives headfirst into the mystery.

But when a threatening note arrives and her GoPro footage reveals a shadowy figure at the scene, Carolina realizes this wasn't an accident-it was a plan.

The killer's still paddling through suspects, and Carolina's next on the list.
