Constantly nervous, Tila Abernathy sets out to purchase a car. Instead, she finds herself in a heap of financial troubles, thanks to her conniving father. At her father's request, trusting Tila unknowingly signed several loans on her eighteenth birthday. She should have known it was suspicious as soon as her father offered to buy her a cake. Now, she's stuck with the fallout. Desperate for help, Tila accepts an invitation sent by the lawyers of her previously estranged aunt. Now, she needs to take conservatorship over her aunt. Or does she? Will she discover what happened to her recently deceased uncle, or will she fall victim to a more sinister plan?
