Diavlo, My First Friend - Paperback

Hank Johnson united the world into one nation after the Third World War nearly wiped out all life on Earth. However, private investigators have uncovered evidence in the form of voice messages, diaries, text messages, video recordings, and tape recordings, suggesting that Hank's glorious achievement may be built on a dark secret.Hank's rise to power was celebrated as a beacon of hope in humanity's darkest hour, a unifying force that brought together warring factions and desperate survivors under one banner. The world hailed him as a visionary, a man who restored order to a shattered planet. Yet, as whispers of betrayal and deceit grow louder, the cracks in his carefully crafted legacy begin to show.

These uncovered fragments of his past paint a different picture-one of manipulation, coercion, and an alliance with forces far more sinister than anyone could have imagined. As the investigation deepens, the evidence becomes impossible to ignore. Among the discoveries are chilling recordings of a child speaking to an unseen presence, diary entries that describe shadowy figures influencing key decisions, and cryptic text messages hinting at threats and blackmail.

The investigators soon realise they are not merely unearthing political corruption-they are delving into something far more darker and terrifying. The shadow of Hank's first "friend," a being he called Diavlo, looms larger with every clue they uncover. Is Diavlo a figment of a troubled imagination, or could it be the key to understanding the sinister truth behind Hank's sudden rise? What the investigators are about to uncover might not just rewrite history-it could reveal malignant forces at work in the world.
