Dirty Delicious - Paperback

by Elizabeth Stewart (Author)

There isn't much that can rattle the small town of Salem Village, North Carolina. But when Salem Village Supper Club, the area's hottest dining destination, abruptly closes with no explanation, questions and rumors spread faster than butter on a biscuit. It's the biggest story in years - and for Evelyn Ann Yarborough, a young journalist, it's the story she's been waiting for. Determined to break out of the sleepy arts and culture section of the local North State Weekly, Evelyn sets her sights on solving this mystery, squaring off against estranged business partners, an unrelenting town gossip, and an unimpressed boss in the process. Before long, it's clear that there's more to the story than meets the eye. What Evelyn finds may change her life and career forever.
