Down South: A Collection of Recipes from my Mother - Paperback

Full of down home, easy to make dishes that have meaning and great taste. We did not have much growing up but, my mother was confident in the kitchen. She worked wonders with basic ingredients creating delicious meals for every day and holidays. This cookbook is a wonderful tribute to her creativity while raising a family in the rural south during the 1960s through the 1980's. She collected traditional southern recipes and added her own special touches. The result, dishes that were both delicious and beautifully presented.
