Drake's Quest for Life is written by a therapist. This book was written to help children feel hope. This book addresses severe depression and bullying. It follows the adventure of Drake the Dragon as he struggles to overcome the challenges of being bullied and feeling depressed. In his despair, he finds help from Kristina the Unicorn and finds his reasons to live and love himself. This book will teach children some positive coping skills. It also includes tips for parents/caregivers to help their children cope with their feelings. This book is intended to be read to a child with a parent, caregiver or trusted adult present for additional conversation and support to be available to the child.
