Dying to Win - Paperback

Retired teacher and poet Eleanor Penrose is back! The tiny beach towns of Waterton and Sand Beach are roiled by the disappearance of the Hispanic newlywed who'd married the area's richest heiress. When a mysterious former Nazi hunter arrives in town, even more locals begin to disappear. With her coffee club friends, her ardent suitor Angus, the unflappable African gray parrot Feathers, and the rest of her quirky friends, Eleanor gets entangled in dark secrets, bullies, racism, murder, and anonymous love letters. Even a bucolic beach town has its skeletons.
